I've been on deviantArt for a good 5 years, and I don't believe I've shared how much I appreciate this site and everyone on it.
Seriously, I adore dA and it's always the first thing I check when I get on my computer; a place where artists can toss their art works into cyberspace and let the creative thoughts fester among each other.
No matter who you are, you will be inspired on this site, moved by this site, and it may open your eyes to foreign ideas you've never considered understanding.
Even the artists online, no matter what skill level they're at, will always improve and being exposed to deviantArt helps with that.

The people on deviantArt are of many kinds, diverse, yet majority make little connections to each other that make them similar. They connect whether it's from a fandom, a style, an idol, religion, or that one comment that started a new adventure.
Though a handful of us don't get along because of what we're interested in or don't morally agree with, majority realize an artist will improve efficiently when they observe with an open-mind.

I wanted to thank you all for being so supportive of not only me but art in general. The imagination, motivation, and inspiration of the young and old fills me with so much joy. Just being surrounded by artists (or even being in a museum for that matter) makes me so excited and energetic I feel like a weirdo to admit it, but in all honesty, that was a lie. I'm PROUD that art makes me feel this way and I'm not embarrassed in the slightest.

I remember when I first joined deviantArt...I felt like it was a royal privilege to be a part of an international online gallery and have the option to actually SPEAK to real life artists who produce artwork out of their wildest dreams. I learned from people on dA, experienced situations I never pictured myself in, and met inspirational people whom I'd be nothing without.
I will admit, deviantArt seems A LOT less active now than 5 years ago. From the looks of things, it was slowing down when I joined, but it's still a wonderful site with people who are learning and improving just like you.

I've never noticed how much everyone on this site, whether they realize it or not, make my day a little more intriguing; so I look forward to seeing what's in store for me tomorrow.

'THIS is how REAL Magic is Done' by Linkerbell
'THIS is how REAL Magic is Done'
"....You're an embarrassment."

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY :iconpianorei: :dummy:
I drew our green haired babies, Bijul and Clio.

Clio's showing Bijul some of her sick witchcraft.:B

:bulletgreen: This brings me to the point that WITCHES AND SIRENS CAN BE NEAR EACH OTHER. In fact, they may not even sense each other until the witch does some sort of magic. Also witches feel drained and faint when sirens are near to the same extreme as sirens who get terrible migraines from witches.  The only difference is that the outcome is siren rampages and the witch's body shutting down and basically going into a coma. This happens when witches expel their dark aura or energy when using alot of magic; sirens are basically a sponge that soak that energy up and it doesnt agree with their bodies. It drains the witch and builds up the siren. So one race doesnt have an advantage over the other.

A lot of peeps have been making sirens explode into rampages and witches get lil headaches at the same time and that's not how it goes.XD

SORRY CHU I HAD TO LET PEOPLE KNOW. Anyway happy birthday bae. UvU:heart:

I love all the colors. In Real life I tend to wear alot of icy/navy blues, reds, pinks and well most of the colors... I associate myself with the color green or teal though.XD As my best friends associate with blue and red it's like a color coding deal.

I was just wondering if you had anything along the lines of a witch 101 type thing that talks about how witches work or do you just share all the information through comments and such? (If its the latter then I have a LOT of questions)

"FEEL FREE TO ASK ME QUESTIONS! I'd love to answer them.Heart"

Okay then, if thats alright, I'd like to ask you a question about witches? C:
How does the tutoring/teaching system work?

More specificly,

How do they teach each other,
and how do they get a tutor/teacher?

Now don't kill me for waisting your time.
'k.
Bye.

Tutoring/teaching depends on what the witch is enrolled in, what abilities they want to try to master, or if the witch has shown potential for an ability at early stages.
It really depends on the teacher, witches are heavily taught from books and light-training classes, depending on the ability.
But nearly all of the abilities are book related, serious studying, and vigorous work.

There are a bunch of tutors/teachers out there. Witches can wish to be enrolled in a type of academy for basics, then branch out to smaller schools as they focus their desired ability. MAJORITY of the time the witch wont be able to do the ability they want and have to improvise to find what they CAN do.
What they want to be able to do, and what their naturally chemicals LET them do are two different things. A lot of witches never master or find a single ability to master. Instead they learn a BUNCH of different smaller spells so they have a bit of a variety but they can never do real damage or be powerful with them.

Theres also alot of witchcraft tutors forbid access to. As told by the Elders, certain dark powerful magic isnt allowed to be taught or used by nearly anyone other than the UPPER class witches and elders. Theres even abilities the elders wont permit use on themselves.

Tutors/Teachers can be found anywhere in a Witch village. Witch villages (I will find a better name for them) are hidden and blocked off from the mortals of Hyrule. The whole town is masked in hexes and spells so they are EXTREMELY difficult to find. But for witches they are easy to locate, just time consuming to get to at times.
Tutors are more expensive than Teachers, but you have to follow the teachers lessons and teachings, and have little one-on-one spell focus time with the teacher.
Tutors will have you learn their way but you can voice your opinion more. (depending on the tutor of course) Tutors have been known as a little more strict than teachers also.

Another important fact, is that the more you study, learn, and improve your abilities the more you age. Witches generally stop their studies at an ideal age they want to appear as- at the cost of not being as powerful as other witches who may prefer looking older, or dont care how they look.
Some unlucky witches can have a lot of trouble learning (or be basically dyslexic) and wont age much even though they try real hard to study.  For examples: My OC, Aggie has similar troubles so she's behind a few generations, and my OC Cybil refuses to continue her studies, content with her work, so stuck at the visual age of 8 when she may be MUCHHHH older.

I hope this cleared things up for you, and this wasnt a waste of time at all.XD
I enjoy answering specific questions.

Woah thats alot of text.

Okay,I read it, and I can definetly say that I just love your witch race more and more. ;o;

I have some more questions, to clear stuff that you just said up? C:
1. What is the teaching like? I mean, yeah reading, but what kind of books/scrolls/texts? And do they do any "in action" studies?
2. Can witch actually turn younger looking if they completely froget something they've learned? :o

Haha Thank you!X"D I probably left alot out on accident. There is an endless description of how in depth my race gets.
This is one of the reasons why I dont make 101s. Also I tend to just ramble in my answers to questions, hope ya' don't mind I'm just filling it out as my head recalls the information soooo please dont expect an accurate essay or something.XD

1.Teaching, like humans, depends on the teacher. Very studious generally. And the books/scrolls may be like...learning everything about the ability from page one. Every text you can get a hold of on the subject. So my Ice witch would have to study everything on ice, what makes ice, where does ice happen naturally, unnaturally, best surfaces to hold ice, the chemical properties of ice, then everything in between. Its ALOOTTTTT of work maining a single ability. (Dovey never studies btw, she was just an example) Yes they do action studies on occasion. Like maybe once or twice a day, kind of like a recess but not really, its still frustrating work. How long and often they do active studying depends on the teacher's learning style. (just like in real life)
2. No they can't age backwards unfortunately.XD GOOD QUESTION THOUGH! But usually after their body has produced the new spell or magical ability, they visually age. That's why witches usually record every one of their spells in their own journal or log so they can scroll back to it. That's what most witch text books are; the elder's old books of spells when they found abilities FROM SCRATCH. Of course they've been copied and rewrote.(probably also censored a lot for power purposes)
